Red Sea Translation Interprets at International Narrators Forum 2018

SHARJAH 24 – 26 SEPTEMBER 2018: Red Sea Translation LLC was privileged to accept an invitation to conduct simultaneous interpretation in one of UAE’s most noteworthy cultural events, the International Narrators Forum 2018.

The event, saturated in regional and international artistic talent and cultural richness, featured gifted ensembles and artists both young and old.

A team of four simultaneous interpreters presided, interpreting the narratives and speeches into   Arabic, French and English, the languages used predominantly in the event. Some of the UAE’s most accomplished simultaneous interpreters joined Red Sea’s CEO Adel Alhaimi to make the project the success it was, including Ramadan Breima, Ihab Elkhatib, and Mouna Oueslati.

With the intricate and poetic language featured in a highly creative forum such as this, simultaneous interpretation becomes an art in its own right; the interpreters have to not only think at lightning-fast speed, but to also dig deep into their creative repertoire of language skills. The Red Sea team proved their worth and were able to successfully convey the richness of the narratives to the audience.
