دبي 21-23 مارس 2019: فريق البحر الأحمر كان له الإمتياز بدعوته لتسهيل الترجمة العربية-الإنجليزية في أحد أهم فعاليات الفروسية في المنطقة، النسخة الثالثة من مؤتمر دبي الدولي للفروسية الذي عقد في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي بين 21 و 23مارس 2019.

شكل المؤتمر ، الذي يحمل عنوان “دبي – القلب النابض لفروسية العالم”، جزءًا من معرض دبي الدولي للخيول الذي شمل عروض الخيول ومعرض فنون الفروسية.
تراوحت حلقات النقاش التي ترجمت من طرف فريق البحر الأحمر للترجمة بين عدة مواضيع منها التعاون الإقليمي في تربية الخيول العربية والجهود الإماراتية المبذولة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط في تطوير سباقات الخيول العربية على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي، و المرأة في رياضة الفروسية و آفاق تعليم هذه الرياضة إضافة إلى التوجهات العالمية في الرفق بالحيوان والتجارب الشبابية في الفروسية بما في ذلك التحديات والإنجازات.
وكان هذا الحدث تحت رعاية ودعم سمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب حاكم دبي ووزير المالية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة و
تضمنت الخطابات شخصيات بارزة مثل سمو الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك آل نهيان وزير التسامح لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وسعادة ميرزا الصايغ مدير مكتب سمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي ومصطفى علي بن أحمد عمشان رئيس المؤتمر، مع فريق من أحسن المترجمين المحترفين في المنطقة متكون من الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة السيد/ عادل الحيمي، السيد/ خليل الجيوسي والسيد/ طارق جلميران .

UAE China Week – Adel Alhaimi interprets at Prospects for UAE-China Relations Symposium
ABU DHABI 17 JULY 2018: Adel Alhaimi was invited to assist with communication at a symposium held by the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), hosting a number of dignitaries including:
- Ambassador Ni Jian, of the People’s Republic of China
- Ambassador Ali Obaid Al-Dhaheri (UAE Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China)
- Prof. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi (ECSSR Director General)
Adel helped facilitate English-Arabic simultaneous interpreting for this event, held at the prestigious Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Hall at Abu Dhabi’s ECSSR headquarters.

Adel Alhaimi Develops and Presents Interpreting Course for Dubai Public Prosecution
DUBAI OCTOBER 2017: Red Sea’s Adel Alhaimi was invited by Experts ME institute to develop and present a three-day Workshop attended by Prosecutors, Interpreters and Translators from Dubai’s Public Prosecution Department.

The course covered areas such as interpretation theory and technique, the challenges of Court Interpreting (and the specific needs of the Public Prosecutors) , the responsibility for maintaining ongoing self development, remaining up to date with the latest technology among other topics. It included role plays, simulations and practical exercises. Self and Peer Assessment were geared towards stimulating self development.
As usual, Adel went out of his way to make the course interesting and stimulating
One of Adel’s trademarks is flexibility and he adapts his courses to suit not only the level of the delegates (who in this instance operate at the highest levels in society) but also to cater for their specific needs.

Adel Alhaimi joins top Interpreters assisting in UAE Education Initiative – Ajman
SEPTEMBER 2017: Adel Alhaimi was among a team of top UAE interpreters facilitating communication between local educators and specialist international trainers at Ajman Teacher Training Center. Adel was invited to participate by Al Shahba Translation.
UAE Education Workshop – in collaboration with Institute of Positive Education
This formed part of an initiative by the UAE Ministry of Education to enhance education in the region and introduce new teaching methodology to local educators.
The September courses culminated in a workshop on Positive Education which brings focus to bear on the well-being of both students and educators.
These latest workshops were run by the Institute of Positive Education, a team of Australian experts, who were invited to share with us from their vast range of know-how and experience.
